The Band of Blue from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School is directed by my husband so naturally I provide graphic design support. This includes yearly show reveal videos, a refreshed logo, posters, flyers, social graphics and a more unified approach to the overall look and feel. Below are a few highlights from that work.

Show Reveal Videos
It’s become a tradition to make a big deal about revealing the theme and title for the following year’s marching show. It helps build excitement for the upcoming year; and maybe have some fun with and fake out theme along the way.
Logo Refresh
The band logo was very asymmetrical and hard to use in today’s modern world. I cleaned up some of the line work and balanced the overall feel to be more user friendly. They also wanted a version that incorporated the core values of the band, community, growth and excellence and a single color variant.
